Ballaglass for Bluebells

I have read in many publications, to see Bluebells at their best, Ballaglass is the place to go.

So we had a good sunny mid-week afternoon, it should be quiet……

All dogs and Mrs A-B packed into the car, and away we go.

We were not disappointed, the bluebells were in their prime as can be seen!

Ballaglass is not the largest of glens, and can comfortably navigated in about 20 minutes, but this does not mean it is lacking in charms.

Yet another Wizard appears, these are now becoming rather common, but rather good and appear to have been here for a long time.

A pleasant walk along the stream and then up through the top of the glen provides some stunning views.

For the dogs, it was a great adventure bounding through all the bluebells and exploring all the new smells.

As for a quiet stroll mid-week, it finished up like a coach outing, everybody was out enjoying what Ballaglass had to offer.
