One of our bridges is missing

As Mrs A-B was working in Laxey today, I was asked to drop her down and collect her again once she had finished. Simple enough and time for me to have a look around Lower Laxey after the floods at Christmas and work on a few new ideas.

The old road bridge has now been demolished after the floods to allow the recovery of the bus that was caught on the bridge at the time, fortunately, nobody was hurt as only the driver was onboard.

A new foot bridge has been installed as a temporary measure to allow access across the river.

As can be seen now the road bridge has been removed, it has made quite a difference to the lower harbour area.
